How iosys Uses AI
iosys carries the Swiss Made Software +AI label. The majority (60%+) of our software is developed and operated in Switzerland.
Products
Our factorIQ suite puts AI to work on the shop floor:
- inbox.factoriq picks up incoming documents (orders, delivery notes, invoices) from email inboxes. It extracts structured data from unstructured PDFs and feeds validated results into your ERP — cutting manual order processing by up to 90%.
- talk.factoriq lets you query production databases in plain language. It generates charts, tables, and reports from existing ERP, MES, and time-series data.
AI Technologies
We use Large Language Models (LLMs) and generative AI for document understanding, data extraction, and natural-language interfaces. Key building blocks include Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines and AI agent orchestration.
Models & Providers
We take a multi-model approach with established commercial providers:
- Anthropic Claude (via Anthropic API)
- OpenAI GPT-4o and other models (via Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service)
- Selected open-source models for specific tasks
We do not train or fine-tune foundation models. We adapt model behavior through structured prompts, RAG pipelines, and domain-specific agent logic.
Hosting & Data Sovereignty
Our application infrastructure runs on Microsoft Azure in Switzerland (Switzerland North) or Western Europe, depending on client requirements. Client data stays in the client-specified jurisdiction and is never used for model training. Anthropic Claude API calls are processed in the US/EU per Anthropic's data processing terms. For clients requiring strict Swiss data residency, we use Azure-hosted models exclusively.
